We work with two companies who are sharing a building as well as the equipment to ship their completed product to their customers’. This system delivers the product from the assembly line to a storage and retrieval system. The storage system keeps the completed product in individual storage locations until it’s required to ship to the their customers at a later date. Once the shipping list is received from their customer it is given to our system to create the trailer load. The product is transported through a series of conveyors to a two level truck “simulator”. This area stores a completed truck load until the truck is ready to pick up. Once ready the truck backs up to the building and interfaces with the conveyor system to automatically load the trailer for transport to their customer. This entire process is done without any operators and can run 24/7 in the plant.
